"Ate these growing up as a kid, and still wear the restaurant's shirt with pride! There's only 2 hotdogs I specifically remember in life: 1: A loaded "Dirty water dog" from a Sabrett's stand. Ketchup, mustard, sauerkraut, relish, and onions on a dog that stewed all day in water probably not changed in a week. It was a hotdog, slow cooked in jellied hotdog. Try it. 2. The Ripper. A 15 min drive down the road, and you were in hotdog heaven. For me, my first trip down the road was long before they were found by tv and internet, early 90's. Was it super clean? Nope. Did it have a great shopfront view? Nope. But they did make a helluva hotdog. There's nothing like a ripper with a slap of mustard."
