"Rawon actually is a great dish ONLY if the chef knows how to cook it . Only a few restaurants/ foodstalls cook it right & they KEEP the recipe SECRET😂 until now . Most restos n foodstalls only cook bland rawon . Sorry to say... Btw , depot sakinah in pasuruan city makes+ offers the BesT rawon 👍👍🏆 . I live in the origin province of rawon for almost my whole life . So my opinion is somewhat true & not biased🙏"

And the flavor is really good. Savory. Not too spicy, but i like it spicy. Eat with warm rice, shrimp crackers, sprouts, and sambal."
