"I'm from NC so this iconic food is a cornerstone of my childhood and I am always sure to eat a bunch when I go back to visit. Pork ribs in a tomato based bbq sauce are excellent, as is pulled pork with a vinegar based sauce in a soft with white cabbage cole slaw. I highly suggest hush puppies and cheerwine to go with."

"Absolutely delicious- but you have to make it yourself. Usually seasoned with a dry rub and served with a vinegar based sauce. Eat it with coleslaw and beans."
