Pio Cesare is a historic, family-owned winery founded in 1881 by Cesare Pio, located in the heart of Alba, Piedmont, Italy. The winery's cellars, built in the late 18th century, are uniquely situated within the ancient Roman walls of Alba Pompeia, which date back over 2,000 years.

Pio Cesare owns approximately 70 hectares of vineyards strategically located across prestigious appellations, including Barolo and Barbaresco, offering a diverse range of terroirs. The winery is renowned for its dedication to crafting wines that reflect the essence of each appellation.

Pio Cesare focuses on producing small quantities of high-quality wines, including Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo, and other Alba classics.
