Recommendations

"What I immediately liked about Pettigrew's Afternoon Tea is that the choice is in your hands. I was really pleased by the soft and light texture of the sandwiches, I'd recommend trying egg mayonnaise and Perl Wen organic brie with fruit chutney - so, so tasty!"
"Tasty finger sandwiches, scones, clotted cream and Caerphilly strawberry preserve are served on three tiered servers but be sure to leave room for dessert – this tea room’s bespoke cakes are pure temptation."
"What tickled our tastebuds: They're generous with the jam and clotted cream at Pettigrew, so you can really slather them on those delicious scones!"
"All fillings flavours were lovely and fresh and full of flavour and the fruit scones were just delicious!""
"It is open seven days a week for tea lovers to enjoy endless pots of tea in various flavors. They also serve cranberry scones, finger sandwiches, and cakes. The lavender Earl Grey is a favorite here for the price of £13.95. The tea room is a must-visit in Cardiff whether you’re alone or with a group."
"Overall I enjoyed my first experience of the afternoon tea at Pettigrew Tea Rooms. It was a lovely quaint venue and the scones and sandwiches were very tasty."
"The whole afternoon tea was substantial and I recommend either whiling away the afternoon here with friends, consuming it over the course of several hours or, like us, ordering it as a decadent lunch."
"This place is a must-visit in Cardiff. But if you’re planning to enjoy the festive tea, book soon – David told me Saturday was their busiest ever day, with 40 covers pre-booked for afternoon tea. I can see why it’s so popular."
"If you, like me, are a lover of afternoon tea then I can’t recommend Pettrigrew’s enough. It may not have the grandeur of the big London hotels and restaurants, but its friendly staff, brilliant menu and delicious food would draw me back in a heartbeat."
