The Verdelho grapes for this 1994 medium-dry Madeira from D'Oliveiras were carefully handpicked and aged by the canteiro method creating a medium sweet fortified wine with fragrant aromas of brown sugar, liquorice, soft burnt caramel, marzipan, smoky tar, and Creme Brulee.


On the palate, its crisp acidity marries wonderfully with brown spices, raisins, lavender, and caramel leading into a lovely finish with steely crunchy acidity and a timeless tangerine echo! A distinct style, full of contrasts and complexities.

Established in 1820, Pereira D’Oliveira today is run by Anibal, Luis and Filipe D’Oliveira, the fifth generation of the family and the direct descendants of Joao Pereira d’Oliveira who founded the company.
