Recommendations

"This crust is crunchy on the outside and puffy on the inside. The pizzaiolos combine California tomatoes with sweet onion to match in flavor what the crust delivers in girth. It’s an incredibly satisfying slice that adds to the glorious surprise that is this hidden-in-plain-sight gem right across the street from Penn Station."
"The “upside-down” slice at NY Pizza Suprema is not to be missed. So called because the cheese goes on before the sauce, it is a slice whose crust is light and crisp. The sauce is thick, rich and savory-sweet, and the mozzarella practically melds with the dough, giving it a unique texture."
"The crust was thick and puffy, yet light and delicate with a beautiful bottom crunch. But the sauce was even better! It seemed less chunky and less sweet than the sauce on the NY slice, but it was bursting with terrific tomato flavor. The ingredients were all in good balance, and this made for a top-notch Sicilian square experience."
"The Sicilian Slice may be even better. The style was upside down so the sauce is loaded on top of the cheese. Their fra diavolo sauce has an initial sweetness to it, with a spicy after taste. What I also love is that they use those small pepperonis that are in the shape of a tiny cup. All at once those tiny pepperonis are crunchy, juicy, and savory. The crust of the Sicilian slice is thick and crunchy."
"This is a thick and fluffy square pie, much like a Sicilian pizza. However, they put the Mozzarella cheese on the bottom and the sauce on top, thus the name upside down. The sauce that they make for this pie is a robust homemade onion based sauce. It’s a really delicious sauce and makes the whole pie in my opinion. This was a really good slice and I would definitely recommend it, especially if you are a sauce lover."
