"The moqueca is recommended for a maximum of 3 people, but the 4 of us ate well. It came boiling, very tasty, the fish falling apart, seasoned wonderfully, with enough broth and delicious! What about the moquequinha? Perfect!
"Our panel of experts was unanimous in choosing the number 1 moqueca of Grande Vitória. The alchemy served in Pirão has been appreciated by many artistic and political personalities."
"It is impossible to resist the wonderful national dishes, mostly made in clay pot, such as delicious capixaba moqueca."
One of the best and, definitely, classic restaurants serving the dish in the region. It's about 1h from the capital. The trip is well worth it, to appreciate the dish and the beaches.
Well, I am a little biased, as I worked there commanding the fish station but, I can for sure recommend because I know how fresh and reliable are the ingredients and the techniques employed to make them - the clay pots used to cook were brought from real artisans from the region, the recipe is authentic and the fish used is prime. It's a little pricey, but the whole experience is a real taste of Brazil.
