The Monterey Beer Festival is an annual beer festival that brings over 80 beers from dozens of breweries to the Monterey County Fair & Event Center for one day in July. The event features some of the established breweries such as Sierra Nevada, Anchor Brewing Co. and Firestone Walker, but also the ones that are just beginning to make a name for themselves like the Central Valley's Dust Bowl Brewing.

Visitors can also choose from different food stands like The Little Red Barn, Maha's Catering, Delicious Made, Olde Tyme Kettle, Taco Fiesta & Catering, BNB Wings N Things, Brats USA Lugano Bistro and Caesar's Etc.
