"The ingridients are well placed in the refrigator to ensure the freshness and cleaniness of the food items as well. As for the choices, the variety are kinda a lot as well ahere you an find a variety of items to be dipped into the satay celup sauce. As for the gravy, it comes with the pretty thick sauce and the sauce is not too spicy compare to Ban Lee Siang., The sauces at Mr Queks come slightly thick with the loads of peanut in it as well."

"The satay sauce here is adequately thick with just the right balance of sweet and spicy. It’s a crowd-pleaser alright. As for the ingredients, the real meat and seafood skewers are satisfyingly fresh. Some of the more memorable items we had were the cockles (I had dozens of it alone), bacon and prawns."

"This, ladies and gentlemen, is the peanut sauce. It’s made from ground peanuts, chilies, coconut milk as well as sugar. It’s sweet and spicy, and it’s very thick. Yes, it’s very thick and not diluted, so it tasted really, really heavenly. But my favourite got to be these… the sweet and succulent king prawn satay. It’s really yummylicious, and I daresay we ate more than 30 sticks of these king prawn satays."

"One of the must-try local fares in Malacca is satay celup. So I brought my mom here as she was uninitiated about what exactly satay celup was. There are many satay celup shops in Malacca but I've only tried the satay celup here, twice so far and have really enjoyed it both times."

"The few skewers we took are the mushroom, lady’s finger (okra), sotong, meatballs and fishballs, crabstick, and some cheese tofu. Just dip them into the peanut sauce, and take them out once they are cooked and enjoy the goodness of the peanut sauce. Their peanut sauce is thick and rich, and it make me sweat a little while eating. That is also what makes this place such a great eating spot for youngsters and old generations."

"Now that we have been to this restaurant, Satay Celup is actually really really really really good! The sticks of food were cheap, all very fresh, all stored in a refrigerator with doors, the satay celup bowl was clean, didn't look like it had been used before. Even the drinks were fresh – fresh fruit juices that weren't full of ice and water and sugar."
