Martin Mullen

The Martin Müllen Winery is located in Traben-Trarbach on the Moselle River. It was established in 1986 as a hobby winery, and five years later, founders Martin and Susanne Müllen fully committed to viticulture as their main business. In 2018, their son Jonas joined the family enterprise.

The winery's goal is to create unique Riesling wines inspired by the wines of the early 20th century, a time when wines from the Moselle region were renowned for their exceptional quality and commanded high prices. By combining the best traditions of the past with modern advancements, they have developed a distinctive and high-quality wine style.

Today, the winery cultivates around five hectares of vineyards, primarily on steep slopes rich in slate. Riesling accounts for 95% of their plantings, making it the most important grape variety in their production.
