Recommendations

"To be honest, I didn’t have high expectations. I imagined tough, gristly, overcooked meat with greasy breading. But at Lindy’s, the widely acknowledged masters of finger steaks, they take this dish seriously. The thick, crunchy batter was crisp and the meat, medium rare and very tender. I can’t claim to be a connoisseur of bar food but these were damn good."
"This bar-turned-steakhouse is a favorite among local finger steak lovers. Their crispy deep fried morsels are modeled after the original recipe."
"I take a bite of the hefty finger steak. It’s piping hot, juicy and crispy – like the perfect bite of fried chicken, but steak. The meat inside the breading is tender and still a little pink in the center. Tinker tells us the steaks come out of the fryer perfectly cooked between medium rare and medium."
"Best Finger Steaks in Idaho: Lindy's Steak House - A house favorite at Lindy's Steak House, the finger steaks are made from top hand-cut sirloin, double coated in seasoned batter and pressure fried to ensure a crispy outside and tender inside."
"The meat was tender, and despite the deep-fried breading it was still a little pink inside. Since I like my steak medium-rare, this was perfect. The breading was crunchy and very salty, with flecks of pepper visible. It was heavily seasoned, but in a good way. I liked the finger steaks a lot."
"Locals have repeatedly rated this little bar-turned-steakhouse as their top pick for finger steak perfection. Deliciously fried but not greasy, these bite-sized gems are modeled after the original Boise Torch recipe - the home of the finger steak."
