"I enjoyed some Kedgeree here for breakfast. It’s one of my London rituals. My go to meal at the Wolseley: Kedgeree with smoked haddock and an egg."

"Rather than a pile of curry sauce, this kedgeree came fully incorporated. Overall with the rich duck egg this was a real breakfast of champions and I was in serious envy of my aunt."

"Whilst they do brunch classics well, you should go for something with a pinch of novelty, like the kedgeree."

"The flavours of the kedgeree were well balanced – the smokiness of the fish contrasting against just enough curry oil. Texture was great here – both fish and rice nicely al dente. I suspect the egg resting atop the dish was one of those slow-cooked, water bath numbers and its runny yolk was well used for its binding properties."
