Isle of Man Manx Loaghtan lamb

This unique meat must come from pure bred Manx Loaghtan lamb that was born and reared on the Isle of Man. Its flavor is intense, similar to that of game and the meat is dark, fine grained and has less fat and cholesterol than meat from commercial breeds.

The sheep are distinctive for their unusual visual appearance, with big horns (two or four) and wool that is golden brown in color, evolved to adapt to the harsh climate conditions of the area.
