Ipsus is a prestigious winery located in the medieval hamlet of Il Caggio, surrounded by rolling hills planted with Sangiovese vines. This winery is the result of decades of research by the Mazzei family, who have been dedicated to winemaking since 1435.

Their flagship wine, IPSUS, reflects the unique terroir of Il Caggio, combining fine and silky tannins with notes of red fruits, cherries, and aromas of orange peel. IPSUS is produced in limited quantities, with around 2,500 to 4,500 bottles annually, depending on the vintage.

The winery practices sustainable agriculture to preserve the ecosystem and ensure soil stability, contributing to the creation of this exceptional wine.
