Every year in August, the small city of Howell, Michigan, celebrates its agricultural heritage and delicious Howell melon with a three-day food festival. Visitors can enjoy delicious foods, and local wines served at numerous food booths or browse colorful stands run by local artists selling their beautiful wares.

The festival also features various melon-related activities, like melon races and rides, a car show and a juried arts and crafts show.
