"The horseshoe is a wonderful example of local cuisine and the many varieties and takes throughout the city keep the dish interesting. Many restaurants pride themselves on their take of a horseshoe so really it is hard to go wrong when looking for a horseshoe. Even if it seems like too much it is certainly worth the try and very delicious."

"This is the Springfield, IL answer to the Loco Moco and just as awesome! I first had on when visiting a friend there in 1992 and have also made them at home. My friend lives in my area now (Seattle) and he still makes them."
