"They are serving up some excellent, locally made fast food, all with a Michigan twist. Fresh ground beef comes from Wolverine Meat in Detroit and is a juicy 80/20 blend. Always fresh, and never frozen. Halo is famous for their "Olive Burger" which comes loaded with sliced green olives, but not a goopy mayo-based sauce. Just the right amount of briny saltiness to play off the meat and cheese."

"The Q.P., Halo Burger’s signature quarter-pound burger, comes with a ton of toppings, including lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles, but the most distinctive element is the inclusion of green olives. The olives add an interesting, slightly bitter taste to the burger not found elsewhere. The patty itself was also large and high-quality. All the ingredients were fresh and generously portioned. Definitely a worthwhile burger, featuring old standbys mixed with an interesting new ingredient."

"Having a burger "my way" means I want my burger garnished with a generous helping of sliced olives, and the Flint, Michigan, based Halo Burger is one of the few places where I know I can get olive burgers. I don't remember when I first discovered Halo Burgers, but once I tried one of their olive-laden burgers, I was hooked."
