Gunfire

Gunfire is an English cocktail made with a combination of black tea and rum. To prepare it, black tea is first poured into a cup, followed by a shot of rum, and the whole combination is then stirred. It is believed that the drink has origins in the 19th century, when it was served to lower-ranking members of the British Army.

Nowadays, it is traditionally drunk on Christmas Day in England, while in Australia, it is drunk during Anzac Day as part of the 'Gunfire breakfast,' where it is prepared with coffee instead of tea.
