Frankland Estate is a family-owned winery located in the Frankland River region of Western Australia. It was established in 1988 by Barrie Smith and Judi Cullam, and today it is managed by their children, Hunter and Elizabeth Smith, together with Elizabeth's husband, Brian Kent, who has been the head winemaker since 2010.

The winery is situated on the Isolation Ridge property, approximately 330 km south of Perth and 50 km from the Great Southern Ocean. This remote location offers ideal conditions for organic viticulture, thanks to its pristine air and stable climate.

The soil, known as "coffee rock," is composed of iron-rich gravel over a clay base, contributing to the unique character of their wines.
