Affectionately called the Queen of Beaujolais, this grand cru appellation produces medium-bodied red wines that are based on Gamay grapes. Delicate and light Fleurie wines typically display bright aromas of red berries, violets, lilac, and iris.


They are easy-drinking and approachable, while their texture is refined, supple, and silky. Roasted poultry, white meat, terrines, and pâtés are a perfect accompaniment to Fleurie wines.
