"On my last visit to New Orleans I had the yummiest etouffée at Deanie’s. When I took the first bite, I was in HE.A.VEN! This thing was delicious beyond words. Creamy and smooth, bursting with seafood flavor and tomato-less. I was in love and regretting I didn’t order a double portion."

"It was delicious. It was lots of crawfish swimming in a wonderfly flavorful dark roux. Yum. It was very savory and the roux had lovely dark undertones to it adding body and flavor. It had a rich, robust flavor and the rice that was paired with it was outstanding. It was perfectly cooked and lightly seasoned with garlic and parsley. I would definitely make the over an hour drive to get this again. It was that good."

It was delicious. I wanted to eat just the Muffeletta but, the waitress brought out an order of Etouffee and red beans and rice. I am not even sure that the Etouffee was even on the menu. Regretted not ordering a full seerving of each!
