Emiliana's Coyam is an organic and biodynamic red blend from Chile's Colchagua Valley. The 2021 vintage comprises Syrah (38%), Carmenère (26%), Cabernet Sauvignon (8%), Carignan (5%), Malbec (4%), Garnacha (4%), Tempranillo (3%), Petit Verdot (3%), and Mourvèdre (3%).
This wine presents intense aromas of black and red fruits such as plums, blueberries, and cherries, intermingled with fresh notes recalling bay leaf, cedar, and violets. On the palate, it is poised and complex, with ripe, juicy fruit balanced by freshness and a sappy florality.
Emiliana Organic Vineyards, founded in 1986 by the Guilisasti family, is a Chilean winery renowned for its commitment to organic and biodynamic viticulture. Located in the Casablanca Valley, Emiliana has transitioned to 100% organic management across all its properties since 1998, making it the world's largest organic winery.
The winery's vineyards span several of Chile's prime wine regions, including Casablanca, Maipo, Cachapoal, Colchagua, Biobío, and Limarí valleys. Emiliana's dedication to sustainable agriculture reflects its philosophy of producing high-quality wines while respecting both people and the environment.
