Carreta de Oro Reposado is an artisanal tequila crafted from 100% blue Weber agave grown in the heart of Jalisco, Mexico. Produced by Destiladora Juanacatlán, a distillery with three generations of agave farming heritage, this tequila is slowly aged in American white oak barrels for a minimum of six months.
This aging process imparts a special flavor and balance between the blue agave and the barrel, resulting in a ripe profile. The tequila has an intense and bright golden color, with well-formed pearls and suspended bubbles of high permanence, showcasing its excellent body.
Destiladora Juanacatlán is a Mexican distillery founded in 2003 in the municipality of Juanacatlán, located in the central part of the state of Jalisco. It was established in response to an agave surplus in the region, when local producers joined forces to collectively process the excess agave.
After five years of development, the distillery built a fully licensed facility and began producing 100% blue agave tequila. The first distillation was completed at the end of 2008, adhering to the standards of institutions such as SAT, IMPI, and the Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT).
Destiladora Juanacatlán produces various types of tequila, including Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo, under the Carreta de Oro brand. Their products are available in multiple countries across the Americas, including the United States, Brazil, Colombia, and Venezuela.
