Dante

Dante is an American soft cheese produced in Wisconsin by the Wisconsin Sheep Dairy Cooperative. The cheese is made from pasteurized sheep's milk and it ages for at least 6 months. Underneath the natural rind, the texture is firm and slightly dry after 6 months.

The aromas are rich, while the flavors are buttery, sweet, and nutty, with hints of toast, grass, and lanolin. It's recommended to serve it with pasta or fresh fruit and pair it with a glass of good wine, whether red or white.
