Cutwater Spirits Mezcal Reposado is a handcrafted mezcal from the rugged landscapes of Durango, Mexico. It is produced using the resilient Maguey Cenizo agave, roasted in traditional volcanic rock pit ovens to infuse the spirit with a subtle smokiness.
This mezcal undergoes open fermentation, allowing wild yeasts from the natural surroundings to contribute to its distinctive flavor profile. Aged in Cutwater Whiskey barrels, the mezcal develops additional complexity, with layers of vanilla and oak that balance beautifully with the earthy, smoky agave character.
This reposado mezcal offers a nuanced sensory experience, with flavors of roasted agave, caramel, tropical fruits, and a lingering warm finish.
