"This sandwich takes the BLT to a whole new level with a mountain of thick-sliced crisp bacon that is sure to fulfill every bacon lover's dream."
"The most unusual of the malted flavors is banana, for which a fresh banana is pulverized along with the ice cream and milk, dusted with nutmeg. The combination of banana, chocolate, vanilla ice cream, and malt powder is like a supercharged banana split in a glass."

"The Crown Candy Kitchen’s turtle sundae is exemplary. Silken vanilla ice cream is shrouded with hot fudge, the fudge covered with caramel sauce, and the caramel sauce mounded with buttered and toasted pecans."

"Opened in 1913, Crown Candy houses St. Louis' oldest soda fountain and is one of the city's most-popular attractions to date. Stop by for a stacked sandwich, a comforting bowl of chili and, of course, a classic hot fudge sundae."

"The "Heart Stopping BLT" contains, by a conservative estimate, an entire pig's worth of bacon. Possibly two pigs. There are a few tomato slices and some lettuce, but, really, this is a bacon lover's dream, crisp slice after crisp slice tucked between plain white toast."

"The ice cream is made by a nearby local creamery to Crown Candy's legacy recipe. Fruit ingredients are cut fresh, chocolate syrup is made from their Belgian chocolate only imported to a handful of US restaurants, and if you ask they'll put hot fudge into the mix. My only regret is that they're too big to order more than one flavor."
