Courvoisier XO Royal is a blend inspired by historic cognacs that were once enjoyed in the royal courts of Europe. In the early 1900s, Britain's King Edward VII commissioned his own blend, known as Edward VII Reserve, with a few remaining bottles still preserved in the Paradis Cellar in Jarnac.
This exclusive blend serves as the foundation for Courvoisier’s Master Blender, Patrice Pinet, who has crafted XO Royal, merging Fins Bois de Jarnac and Grande Champagne cognacs into a luxurious expression.
