Canon Fronsac

Canon Fronsac is a French wine region located in Bordeaux, more precisely in the vineyards situated north-west of the city of Libourne. The region produces age-worthy, ruby red wines that are traditionally made from a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and small percentages of Malbec.

The wines are typically concentrated and well-structured, with firm tannins and primary aromas of black and red fruit which tend to develop into more intense expressions of leather, spices, truffles, or prunes. Canon Fronsac wines pair well with classic French meat dishes, and they are a perfect match to grilled or braised beef.
