The Scotch Whisky Masters - Gold

2024

Defender of the Crown is an 8-year-old peated single malt Scotch whisky from the Annandale Distillery, part of Brave New Spirits' WhiskyHeroes collection. Matured in a first-fill Oloroso Sherry butt, this whisky offers a harmonious blend of peat smoke and rich sherry influences.

Tasting notes include flavors of figs and raisins, with the sherry cask imparting depth and the peat adding subtle complexity. Bottled at 52.9% ABV, it provides a robust and satisfying experience for whisky enthusiasts.
