The traditional bombardino recipe calls for two parts Vov liqueur and one part whiskey or brandy, as in this case. The drink is topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with cinnamon. To be entirely in line with tradition, serve it in an Irish coffee mug. Also, if you want to keep your nose clean, imbibe the cocktail with the help of a long spoon.
2 parts Vov
1 part whiskey or brandy
whipped cream
cinnamon, for garnish
Heat the VOV but do not let it boil.
Add whisky and stir.
Pour into an Irish coffee mug, top with whipped cream, and sprinkle with cinnamon.
