Bollinger Vieilles Vignes Françaises 2013 is a true rarity in the world of Champagne – a wine that celebrates the original heritage and authenticity of the Champagne region. Crafted exclusively from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, this extraordinary cuvée comes from two small, historic vineyard plots – Les Chaudes Terres and Clos Saint-Jacques – which survived the phylloxera crisis and are still cultivated using the traditional franc de pied method, without grafting.
The 2013 vintage was marked by challenging conditions, yet it yielded grapes of remarkable concentration and character. The result is a Champagne of rich golden color, with fine and persistent bubbles that lead into a multi-layered aromatic profile.
The Champagne house Bollinger, founded in 1829 in Aÿ, France, stands as a symbol of excellence and tradition in the world of champagne. Bollinger is distinguished by its unique style that blends power, refinement, and complexity, allowing fruity aromas to fully express themselves.
Their wines, such as the iconic Special Cuvée, reflect richness and depth of flavor, thanks to a careful selection of grapes and traditional winemaking methods. For nearly two centuries, Bollinger has remained true to its family values and independence, which has enabled the house to preserve authenticity and consistent quality in its champagnes.
