I lived in Kadikoy for 3.5 years and discovering Beyran soup at Dürümcü Emmi was the best thing that could have happened. They serve it hot and its full of spices (extra garlicy!) I visited Dürümcü Emmi very regularly with my Turkish friends and even they found the soup delicious. I kept visiting them till Covid hit the world and soon after I left Istanbul. Now sitting in US, whenever someone talks about Turkish food, my thoughts drift away and think about Dürümcü Emmi and its Beyran Corbasi!
