"When made properly, banane malaxé is amazing. Some recipes suggest adding also leek and celery as vegetables, then purreed with the other vegetables so that the only solid pieces are the meat/fish and the bananas. One can also add spices like selim pepper, calabash nutmeg and prekese to add some more aroma. Overall a wonderful mouthwatering plantain and meat/fish stew which goes great with rice or other carbs like pounded yam."
