"Underated dish in my opinion. Why? While yes, eating a slightly developed duck seems disgusting, but if you just forget about it and close your eyes, it actually tastes good. My favorite part is the 'soup' of the balut in the inside, with the yolk part coming 2nd. Little fun thing, that hard white part on the balut? It's actually edible! I like to call it 'bato' which literally translates to rock. A great midnight snack too."

"Its actually delicious if only you have the determination to try. Other people overcame the fear by eating it in the dark or by being blindfolded. My first take on eating balut was nerve-racking while looking at it. This would be fun and by it this would a taste of adventure."
