"Ayran is a beverage that gives the feeling of healing right after you drink it. There is no one type of Ayran. Some are more saltier, some are more fresh, some with black yeast and more sour. I love Ayran but I do not want to mislead anybody cause I have never meet a westerner who like it"

"it has several variations fregmented, carbonated or regular and also in some places they add some spices such as Golpar usually in north of Iran which made it great, as a local I like "Abali doogh" which is sour and salty carbonated but I advice foreigners to start to taste with regular non-carbonated which is more preferred internationally"
