Olmeca Altos is a premium tequila brand crafted from 100% blue agave, cultivated in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Established in 2009 through a collaboration between Master Distiller Jesús Hernández and renowned bartenders Henry Besant and Dre Masso, the brand emphasizes traditional production methods.
The agave is slow-cooked in brick ovens and crushed using a traditional tahona stone wheel, followed by distillation in copper pot stills. This meticulous process results in a tequila celebrated for its smoothness and rich flavor profile. Olmeca Altos offers various expressions, including Plata, Reposado, and Añejo, each catering to different taste preferences.
