Mort Subite Lambic Botanic beer is made in Kobbegem, in the Senne Valley about ten kilometers from Brussels in Belgium, by the Mort Subite brewery. The result of a blend of old and young lambics (brews made from 40% raw wheat and 60% barley malt), it is infused with juniper berries and cardamom ground for 24 hours.
About Alken-Maes
Alken-Maes is a Belgian brewery created out of the 1988 merger of two small breweries, Maes located at Kontich-Waarloos and Cristal-Alken located at Alken. It was bought by Scottish & Newcastle in 2000, who were taken over by Carlsberg and Heineken in 2007.
