All the adjika I've tried has been homemade by Megrelians, and I can never imagine using store bought adjika from now on. One of the best variants I've tried was homemade adjika with honey bought from a market booth off of Rustaveli Avenue. Still spicy, garlicky, and simply delicious, with an amazing touch of sweetness from the honey that pairs everything together. You can taste and name every ingredient used. Household essential."
