The Abergavenny Food Festival is the biggest food festival in Wales, which takes place in the center of Abergavenny since 1999. Although created by two farmers to support local businesses after the BSE (mad cow disease) crisis, it soon evolved into an event featuring top British and international chefs, local producers, celebrity guests and performers, all gathered to prepare, celebrate and debate various foods and drinks.
