Recommendations

"Thanks to their sensational shawarma, it's no surprise Hakosem’s always bustling with customers."
"HaKosem means “the magician” in Hebrew–an apt name for the magical fare served up at this small eatery for more than a decade. The secret? Fans says the shawarma here is served with the perfect amount of fat."
"This is also the place to try sabich, everything here is exceptionally well-done."
"In my opinion, this is the best falafel in the world."
"This is the ‪best‬ ‪‎falafel‬ place in ‪‎Israel‬ – the veggie balls are always fresh, the curry mango sauce – amba – is not overwhelming, and the salads are crunchy as they should be."
"Where to Find Your Falafel Fix: HaKosem - The falafel is always hot, crisp and soft – and the staff at Hakosem want you to know it as they pass out samples as you wait in line to order."
"They have just the right amount of spices, a great crunchy texture and are incredibly fresh and fluffy."
"The joint is famous for its falafel and sabich but their shawarma is also awesome – turkey based, soft and juicy, sliced thin."
"The place is not a regular Falafel shop: it serves a variety of Israeli street food such as Shawarma (again, one of the best in the city)."
"Though they are famous for their falafel and hummus, you must try their shawarma as well. I recommend you try the lamb shawarma, each serving includes extra crispy brown lamb meat, which provides amazing juicy flavors, thanks to the lamb fat which is dripping on the meat from above. Each shawarma is served in a handmade pita with fresh hummus, green salads, spicy onions, cucumbers, garlic and to top it off, they add their famous falafel balls on top of this tasty delight in a pita."

"My favourite shawarma in Tel Aviv, especially on top of hummus. Strongly spiced with coriander, it was warm but, importantly not too hot."
