"Everybody wants to visit Café Sacher – the reason being its celebrated Sacher-Torte, a rich chocolate cake with apricot jam, although its other sweet offerings are worth trying too."
"A tender delicacy, the "table end" cut absorbs a variety of flavors, including juniper berries, celery root, and onions."
"The Hotel Sacher is a gorgeous slice of Viennese opulence and sure, if it’s your first trip to Vienna, you should head to the café for a Sachertorte, the property’s namesake cake."
"Located in the Hotel Sacher and famous for their Sachertorte, the cafe has the ultimate Austrian vibe."
"Just to be fair, I tried Sachertorte in a few other places (yes, I’ve got quite the sweet tooth) that claimed to have the “best” in the city, but they just didn’t compare, AT ALL."
"I can never resist buying an Original Sacher-Torte, a dense but delectable chocolate cake made with a thin layer of apricot jam and a rich chocolate glaze, to take home with me."
"To plant your fork into a heavenly slice of Sacher-Torte is surely one of the world’s quintessential culinary and travel experiences."
"If you still want to check out Hotel Sacher, try their Topfenstrudel, a pastry with a quark cheese filling."
"Against a flaming scarlet background, you can enjoy dishes that pleased emperors -- notably Vienna's famous dish Tafelspitz, the most savory and herb-flavored boiled beef you'll ever taste."
"I savored both the rich broth (with its semolina dumpling) and the Tafelspitz itself."

"This really was excellent and lived up to the hype. Note that Cafe Demel argues that they originated Sachertorte. Come first thing in the morning to avoid the crowds."
