36 Short is a family-owned distillery located in Virginia, South Australia, founded by brothers Jon and Con Lioulios. The distillery's name, "36 Short," is a heartfelt tribute to their late father, Pando, referencing his suit size. Pando's passion for family, friends, and good times serves as the benchmark for 36 Short's operations.

The Lioulios brothers established the distillery to fulfill their father's dream of producing Rakia with a modern twist. Rakia, a traditional fruit spirit popular in the Balkans, was the first product they introduced, making 36 Short the first licensed producer of Rakia in Australia.

Since its inception, 36 Short has expanded its product range to include award-winning spirits such as Gin, Vodka, Whisky, and Limoncello. Their premium spirits are crafted using ingredients sourced directly from their family farm or the finest Australian produce, ensuring no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives are added.
