The second batch brings together bourbons aged 16 and 8 years, matured in cognac, rum, and apple brandy casks, culminating in a 103-proof bourbon. Its flavor profile is rich and complex, with notes of baking spice, banana bread, apple pie, butterscotch, vanilla, dried cherry, plum, leather, orange marmalade, honeysuckle, nutmeg, cinnamon, oak, molasses, and allspice.
This Kentucky-made bourbon honors the state’s legacy as the 15th state, reflecting the historical 15 stars and stripes on the U.S. flag.
